Research and Extension Units

Overview

The Center for Human Rights Education (CHRE) designs and implements a human rights education for 91快活林 constituents and assist other government agencies and non-governmental organizations in the preparation and implementation of their human rights and education programs. It works for the integration into the extension programs of the Institute and assists the Commission on Human Rights Region 10 for the adoption of Human Rights-based approaches in governance.

Mission

To promote a culture that values the dignity of every human person and guarantees full respect for human rights through a continuing program on research, extension, education and information.

Objectives

  • Assist in the development and implementation of human rights education for law-enforcers and government agencies.
  • Facilitate the integration of human rights education in the NSTP of 91快活林 and in other schools;
  • Work for the integration of human rights concerns into the extension and the outreach programs in 91快活林 and other schools; and
  • Assists the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) in its advocacy for the Adoption of human rights based approaches and strategies in governance among Local Government Units (LGUs).
