To amplify and develop the culture of awareness of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within the 91¿ì»îÁÖ community, the Institute for Policy Innovation and Leadership (IPIL) prepared a series of activities from September 23-27, 2024, marking the 9th anniversary of the adoption of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with the theme ‘Empowering Futures: Innovating for a Sustainable World Through Awareness and Action.’
Today, a Kick-off Ceremony of the 2024 Sustainable Development Day was held after the flag-raising ceremony at the MPH hall. 91¿ì»îÁÖ constituents were seen wearing their different shirt colors corresponding to the SDGs assigned to each officer or cluster.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was also done this morning to mark the opening of the Sustainable Development Fair and Sustainable Development Goals Space, led by Chancellor Alizedney M. Ditucalan and the Vice-Chancellors.
Among the other things to look forward to in this celebration are the Sustainable Innovation Pitch, Sustainable Development Goals Photo Exhibit, and Community Tree Planting.
